Dr Anees Ahmad, earned his Medical Degree in 1996 from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore , Pakistan. After practicing medicine for few years in Pakistan, he immigrated to USA in 2001. Dr Ahmad completed his Internal Medicine Residency from Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center, Staten Island, NY in 2005. Dr. Ahmad is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine.
Dr Ahmad practiced medicine from 2002 to 2010 in upstate NY. After that Dr Ahmad moved to Buffalo in 2010. He worked as a hospitalist in South Buffalo Mercy Hospital, and Buffalo General Hospital from 2010 to 2021.

Dr. Ahmad founded WNY House Physician PLLC in 2020. WNY house Physician PLLC is home
based primary care practice for elderly/home bound.

Dr Ahmad possesses a vast experience of treating patients in deverse settings: including homes, inpatient, outpatient, academic institutions, nursing homes, assisted livings and community health centers.

Dr Ahmad is also serving as volunteer faculty with University of Buffalo to mentor residents and medical students for home based patient’s care.

Dr Ahmad wants to help those patients, who for one reason or the other are unable to leave their houses. Dr Ahmad is working on the vision that by treating patients in their houses, he can make a difference in their lives by providing quality care in the comfort zone of the patient’s home environment. By doing so, he is looking to improve outcomes, boost up quality of life of his patients, reduce overall healthcare cost, and go up on scale in patient’s satisfaction at the same time. Dr Ahmad wants to expand his home based practice to almost each US state.

Dr Ahmad’s hobbies include golf, tennis, swimming, clay shooting, and hunting. Dr Ahmad also likes to read and travel.
